The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is the worldwide leader for research to cure type 1 diabetes.  It sets the global agenda for diabetes research, and is the largest charitable funder and advocate of diabetes science worldwide.

The Foundation’s mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish^® experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors, and entire communities.

My Painted House

My Painted House Foundation (MPHF) was founded in 2006 by Jennifer Beresford, humanitarian and international business professional. “My Painted House” represents the safe and secure home that is offered to each lost child in their charge; a home where they can thrive, and learn how to grow into happy adults; a home where their hopes and dreams are nourished/fostered by an extended family of other lost children, local caregivers and worldwide patrons of the My Painted House Foundation.

Amaryllis Farm

Christine Barrett-Distefano is the founder of Amaryllis Farm Equine Rescue. When she found out at 4yrs of age that horses could be sold to slaughter and people would eat them in other countries, she vowed to help them escape that fate. Throughout her lifetime she has held to that solitary mission. Their mission is to intercept slaughter bound former service horses, ponies and mules (lesson, children’s camp, show, race, police, carriage horses) and find them loving homes under the protection of our contract. AFER offers permanent sanctuary to those equines unable to adapt to an adoptive home, the elderly and special needs equines.
